Partnership Agreement January 23, 2004 The purpose of this partnership agreement is to create a collaboration between Washington State Family Child Care Association (WSFCCA) and Eastern Washington Family Child Care Association (EWFCCA) to unify and empower both organizations to implement positive changes, protect Provider rights, and reflect the voice of the Provider community while working to achieve quality, safe child care for the children of Washington State. WSFCCA and EWFCCA will maintain their autonomy and the ability to run their individual Associations and will maintain complete control over their own finances with the exception of: EWFCCA will pay WSFCCA an annual lump sum of $350.00 to allow their members access to the same Accidental Medical Liability and Medical/Dental Insurance coverage WSFCCA members have. The lump sum will be due on January 15th of each year. EWFCCA will maintain their own membership records and will report membership information and insurance payments to WSFCCA Treasurer by October 1st of each year. EWFCCA will primarily draw members from the following counties: Spokane, Ferry, Pend Orielle, Steven, Grant, Adams, Lincoln, Whitman, Asotin, Chelan, Douglas, Okanogan. WSFCCA will draw their membership from the remaining counties. Providers have the right to become a member of either or both Associations. The partnership will be known as Voices Of Childcare Advocates & Leaders (VOCAL). This membership is subject to review and revision by mutual agreement.
