“Finding Your Way Through Conflict: Engagement & Resolution Strategies for Early Childhood”

This session focuses on the complexity of social conflicts including both conflict resolution with children and among adults. Successfully navigating social conflict requires a strong foundation in understanding the full spectrum of development of social skills (birth-adulthood, neurology and brain states), co-regulation, defining "Conflict", and perspective taking. This session will utilize 6 core principles of working through conflict and consideration of how culture and social norms are relevant in conflict situations.
